(Thanks for letting me know I should do this RSL... I wouldn't want to disappoint or disillusion the millions of people who read this blog... thanks also for leaving this comment which led me to realize I don't have comment notification enabled which is why it took me TWENTY DAYS to respond)
Answer: The divorce was amicable. They just realized they'd gotten married without really knowing each other, and they weren't actually very well matched. So they're still totally BFF and they give each other dating advice.
