There is something decidedly male about this type of science fiction. The men I know love it, the women I know haven't read it. I gave it a shot, all 500 pages, and it just didn't leave me wanting more.

Robot Science Fiction, an expansion of Isaac Asimov's short story "The Bicentennial Man." I enjoyed this a lot. I think robots are interesting.
